CREATE Module 3

 Welcome to CREATE Module 3!

Now that you’re beginning Module 3, contact Maya right away to schedule your private one-on-one Reiki I attunement.  The attunement is a necessary step in learning Reiki I.

For information about the attunement process, go back to Module 2 to watch the video and article about the Reiki I attunement.

In this module our focus is on:

  1. How to use Reiki
  2. Hand positions for self-treatment
  3. Hand positions for working on others
  4. Learning to integrate Reiki into your daily life

Important:  Make sure you have received your Reiki I attunement before proceeding.

Core Content

Manual Reading Assignments for This Module

If you have not already done so, please read, highlight, and study your Reiki I manual which was included in the last module.  For your convenience, it is included again here.  Read the complete manual by the end of this module.

REIKI I MANUAL_by-M_Zahira_WQ-3-31-16.pdf

Homework:

  1. Refer to your manual while doing one complete self-treatment.  Spend approximately 3-5 minutes on each position.
  2. Practice Reiki on yourself for at least 5 minutes each day.  Integrate your practice into the things you already do.  Ideas:  Do Reiki on yourself when you’re falling asleep, or when you’re waking up and hitting the snooze button.  Do Reiki on your stomach after eating a meal.  Do Reiki on yourself when relaxing, watching t.v., or talking on the phone.  Be creative with other ways you can integrate Reiki into your life.  Create new habits.  The more you practice Reiki, the stronger it gets.

Homework and Integration Questions:

Note:  For those wishing to receive professional certification upon completion of this program, these questions should be submitted as you complete each module.  I review homework and questions on Mondays, so be sure to submit homework by Sunday at midnight.

For those not wishing to receive certification, this homework is simply for your own use to help you focus and complete all tasks in the modules.  Grab a pen and journal, and let's get started.....

1.)  Be sure you have read the entire Reiki I manual.

2.)  This month, do at least one full self-treatment and one full treatment on another person.  If you do not have time to do a full 60-90 minute treatment, practice ALL the hand positions and simply shorten the time.

3.)  This month, take one or more aspects of this module and practice to the point of full mastery.  In other words practice the skill to the point where you can freely apply this skill and you no longer have to check your notes for guidance.

4.)  Scroll to the top of this module and view the section entitled, “In this module, our focus is on….”  Read each item on the list and make a note about each learning standard, indicating the following: a.) Mastered it b.)  Still working on it c.)  Need clarification d.)  Come back to it later.

5.)  Think about what you’ve learned in this module.  What aspects of the content will you integrate into your life on a LONG-TERM basis?  Be specific.  Will you integrate these aspects daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly?  How do you think this will benefit you?

6.)  Are there any areas of this module you don’t understand?  Contact Maya with your question or post to the Facebook group.

Once you have worked through and *mastered* all of the core content, bonus content, and worked on  integration and application of 100% of the material, contact Maya if you would like additional supplemental material, including recommended books and videos.

Modules 1-12 are introductory through intermediate.  In modules 13-24 we cycle back through many of the topics and go deeper to cover more advanced material.  See the ‘What’s Coming Next’ menu to view upcoming topics.)
